Gearing up for Mother's Day

Mother's Day is this Sunday, May 9th, and we are busy at Calico getting ready for it! Our featured arrangement this year can be seen below. It is an interesting design of various flowers with a small wind chime hanging down in the center with a card saying, "You are the wind beneath my wings." We would be happy to design one especially for your mom, or if you have something else in mind, just let us know.
Don't forget Mom and all the other special mother's in your life this week! Just remember, if Momma ain't happy, nobody is happy!

Prom is Finally Here

Prom has finally arrived in Soddy Daisy, which means we have been very busy at Calico this week getting everything ready! We spent a lot of time during the week doing all of our prep work for the corsages and boutonnieres. We wanted all of the orders to be as fresh as possible, so last night we met at 7 pm to get some serious work done.

But, of course, Calico is not all work and no play! We watched Steel Magnolias, the Big Bang Theory, and Jay Leno, and also had a milkshake run to Dub's down the road.
Finally, we wrapped everything up at midnight. You can see us with our exhausted faces below.
We hope everyone has a fantastic time at prom!!
